Bully Proofing Youth Programs

Wyandot County Family and Children First Council will be offering: Bully Proofing Youth Programs to local schools and parents in August and September. The schedule is as follows:

• September 27, 2011 – Student assemblies for Carey and OLC Schools
• September 28, 2011 – Student assemblies for Saint Peters and Upper Sandusky Schools
• September 28, 2011 – All county parent meeting at the Recycling Center starting at 7:00 p.m.
• September 29, 2011 – Student assemblies at Mohawk schools

 Jim Bisenius the presenter for these programs has sixteen years of experience as a child and adolescent therapist specializing in teaching extremely targeted youth how to handle bullying situations.  He has developed response techniques that have been recognized nationally as extremely effective at stopping the dance between kids who bully and the ones they target.  Jim has taught his methods to over 450 schools nationally.  All of these trainings were promoted strictly through word of mouth.  Mr. Bisenius earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University and his Master’s Degree from The Ohio State University.
